The helpline for women (Frauen Nottelefon) in Winterthur marked its 20th anniversary in 2010. The celebration was an opportunity to raise awareness about domestic violence and provide information on the helpline’s counselling services. On Steinberggasse, a street in the historic centre of Winterthur, bowls in a variety of shapes, colours and materials were laid out and filled with water. The happening was created on behalf of the help centre to represent the numerous women who are victims of domestic violence.
