The first phase of the “Wolkenwerk” ensemble of high-rise buildings in Zurich’s Leutschenbach neighbourhood comprises three residential high-rises that are connected by two compact structures. The production halls of Nyffenegger Armaturen AG as well as other commercial space are located along Leutschenbachstrasse. The “inner garden” stretches over the lower part of the site, offering green space that continues across other plots.

The entrance lobbies of the three high-rises feature ornamental, three-dimensional house numbers in the metallic colour scheme of the façade. A delicate and elegant double-contour font was chosen as the basis for additional signage in the development’s interior and exterior as well as its car park.

Upon completion of the second construction phase (by 2024), the “Messturm” commercial tower at the intersection between Leutschenbachstrasse and Hagenholzstrasse will form the gateway to the “Wolkenwerk” ensemble.
