In the north of Zurich-Oerlikon, roughly 135 rental flats and seven commercial spaces were built on the Eggbühl site. The nine entrances to the residential units are located in a park-like courtyard, which is accessible via a tree-lined walkway leading from Eggbühlstrasse. The commercial spaces are accessed directly via Eggbühlstrasse.

The elongated numbers marking the entrances are made of folded aluminium strips mounted directly on the reddish bricks of the angular façade. Depending on perspective, they appear elegantly slim or somewhat sturdier. In the building’s interior spaces, the signage shimmers in silver or dark red.
